Spring is well and truly here! That means for many of us we are taking to our gardens to spend more time outside as the warmer weather returns and colour begins to appear. If you’ve been following our social media tips, we’ve brought them all together in one blog for you.

  1. De-Weed Early

In drier weather, use a hoe to cut weeds off at the roots. This is an effective way to control growth when the soil is less workable. Useful tools include a hand fork, a fishtail weeder, and a steel Dutch hoe.

  1. Sow Seeds

Sow seeds for flowers or vegetables in pots, trays or directly into prepared soil. Lightly cover the seeds with soil or compost and water gently to avoid disturbing them. You can use see trays, small pots or a well-prepared garden bed.
