We pride ourselves on delivering an excellent level of customer service, all from knowledgeable and helpful agents. This lettings branch helps tenants to find any type of property, due to our sizeable number of lettings available, whether that’s a new build or victorian terraced house. Additionally, tenants will find this department useful whether they are seeking long or short term lets, or furnished or unfurnished property.

We are members of the Association of Residential Letting Agents (ARLA), Tenancy Dispute Service (TDS) and the Property Ombudsman (TPO).

In addition, links with our estate agency branches can facilitate the offering of properties purchased by investment buyers to potential tenants within the minimum period of time.

Local Area Information

Northampton is a large market town 67 miles northwest of London. The UK’s 3rd largest town without official city status, there is plenty to offer from Northampton.

To begin with, Northampton Town Centre has a variety of pubs, bars, restaurants, shops and businesses predominantly located on The Drapery, Abington Street, Gold Street, Market Square or in the Grosvenor Centre. For lovers of live events, Royal & Derngate offers a variety of art and entertainment, including theatre, music, dance, comedy, and more. There is also a leisure complex in the town centre, which holds a Vue cinema where you can enjoy the latest films, as well as a large gym.

Just east of the town centre is the district of Cliftonville, predominantly focused on medical practitioners and the site of the general hospital as well as the privately run St Andrews and Three Shires. In the opposite direction in an area known locally as Castle Hill, the mainline Train Station operates services to both London Euston and Birmingham New Street. Northampton is a great central location, and both of these cities can be travelled to via train in around an hour.

Perhaps one of Northampton’s greatest feats is its fame in the shoemaking industry. As recent as 2019, the BBC reported that Northampton remains the ‘shoemaking capital of the world’. Esteemed shoemakers like Church’s, Tricker’s, and Dr. Martens have roots in Northamptonshire, and their factories remain in operation today. The British Footwear Association (BFA) also has their headquarters in the area.

For road travel, Northampton has the A45 and A43 ring roads right on its doorstep plus access to three junctions of the M1 (15, 15a & 16). If you’d like to find out more about why Northampton is a great place to live, take a look at our blog.
