Northampton Town Football Club
Over the years, we have endeavoured to offer various levels of sponsorship support to many local sports teams including Duston Knights FC, Earls Barton Cricket Club, Long Buckby AFC, Northamptonshire Men’s and Women’s Bowling Associations, and Roade FC. We were therefore delighted when discussions in 2007 resulted in a sponsorship agreement with Northampton Town Football Club, particularly as it was the club’s colours that originally influenced David Jackson’s decision on our own burgundy and yellow logo when Jackson Grundy was established back in 1994.
Initially on a two year deal that started with the 2007/08 season, we are now in our fifth season of watching 'The Cobblers' sprint up and down the pitch wearing our logo on their shirts and shorts whilst supporters cheer them on from the West Stand at Sixfields Stadium beneath more of our familiar ovals.
Having undertaken many initiatives during our sponsorship, we hope to have been able to create new generations of Cobblers supporters, and will continue through the coming months to launch new schemes which will support sports clubs and groups in rural locations – so keep an eye on this page which will be updated as progress is made!
